Take a journey with your ears!

Zingari Voci (Italian for Gypsy Voices)
is an inspiring program of traditional vocal music from all over the world.

Vocal Asia is a program focusing exclusively on vocal music of Asia and the Asia Pacific region.

The women of Blindman's Holiday encourage students to explore music using the most accessible instrument of all - the voice, with particular emphasis on the voice as a rhythm instrument. Children are introduced to musical concepts through participation, questioning techniques and demonstration with directed listening. The concepts of pitch, harmony, rhythm and different vocal qualities are introduced appropriate to the age and skills of the audience. A variety of drums and other traditional percussion instruments are used.
The shows provide strong links to subjects such as Geography, Human Society and its Environment, Languages and of course, Music. There is movement, storytelling and even a segment on bullying! The performers can target particular language/cultural groups if requested.
