Concerts of world music take the audience on a musical journey around the world, experiencing the culture of places along the way. Featuring traditional music and instruments from areas as diverse as Macedonia, Russia, Lebanon and the Caribbean.

Children's shows "Silk Road" and "Musical Exotica"can be tailored for any age group. Meeting with an outstanding response in schools and festivals they include demonstrations of traditional instruments and participation in singing and percussion utilising strategies to increase involvement of a young audience.

Dances: Extensive repertoire for Balkan line dancing or belly dancing. Simple moves can be taught by the group or we can team up with a dance leader or belly dancer.

Workshops: Demonstrations of traditional instruments, singing styles and musical structures including scales used in these regions. Percussion workshops can focus on Latin, Balkan or belly dance rhythms using drums or body and vocal percussion.

Silk Road play music from China, India, Greece, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Turkey, Russia, Italy, Cuba, South America, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, and more. Music that is sung in the respective vocal styles and accompanied by exotic instruments. This is music that warms the soul or inflames the senses into ecstasy as a stage presentation or as wandering minstrels. There is also that important ingredient of interaction with the audience, music, a chat, a laugh and a memorable experience.
